cefisher 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2010 Ok... I'm really new the this I purchased platform pro. Is this a theme? When I try to upload a new them to WP... I cannot locate the theme.zip file in the download folder. What should I do?
bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted October 28, 2010 Yes it's a theme and more... Either the zip file or extracted folder whatever it's name is, IS the whole package. So if you download the zip and want to just upload that you'd go to: Appearance > Themes > Upload and upload the zip file you downloaded from PageLines (doesn't matter what it's name is) and activate it. OR You can download the zip file, extract/unzip it and manually upload that folder to your /themes/ folder via FTP, then go to themes in the admin and activate. Let me know if you run into any more trouble. Thanks, Bryan

bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted October 28, 2010 Okay, are you comfortable trying the manual way via FTP? Thanks, Bryan
cefisher 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2010 Sure I would try it that way no problem...BUT when I login to wordpress- the error message from above is the only thing that will come up. I logged out and back in... Same error message. Cannot do anything but read that error message. The back button only refreshes the error message. I even used a different brower... Same error message. Thank you for all of your help Bryan
cmunns 16 Report post Posted October 28, 2010 It doesn't matter, you can remove the theme via ftp and start over even if the message is there.
