Need help - Category/Template/Posts!?

Hello, I've been trying to make this work up until now, can't get my head round this so any help would be greatly appreciated, paying for support so i hope it isn't vague.

please note that the site is still in the works, but you should be able to see what i'm getting at.

 

the first three boxes will click through to main pages with 4 pages to click through within via the boxes at the top. easy! looks great although one isn't completed yet.

now we hit the problem, the posts you click through to should have the right template for each category type, but when i change the template for the first set (print management) when i go to edit the next lot, the template of all of them changes with it.. there must be a way?

Are you saying that you want to have different layouts on a per category, archive basis ?

If so, this has already been reported as its not currently possible to have dynamic templates per category.

Hey Danny, i might be able to do this via pages? all i'm trying to do is to attach one template on 4 posts, a different template on another 4 different posts.. and so on.

You will probably be able to do that via pages.
