Could not connect to PageLines as user ...

Hello,

 

I can't get into launchpad from the wordpress pagelines admin. I enter the correct username and pw, but it keeps saying "Could not connect to PageLines as user "...."

 

I want to see if there are any updates to my latest Pagelines installation.

Hi Antonella,

 

There isn't a need to do this anymore, as the system connection has been terminated, as there is no need for it. Therefore, you can leave the default account active.

If you require your purchased sections, these should all now be available in your launchpad here - http://pagelines.com/launchpad/

 

If you require any of the free sections/plugins/themes, or have any missing items that you have purchased, please contact our helpdesk - hello at pagelines dot com

      I do not understand why in the world you would want us to pay an extra $4 for "Launchpad" short codes. It makes absolutely no sense, when I just paid for a Pro membership! Why would you really want me to drop more money, for a service I know nothing about? Is it worth it, and if so, why isn't it included in the Pro Membership!

      I'm wondering how hard it would be to create a page (member login) similar to LaunchPad?
       
      My client wants to sell products and provide downloadable PDFs to select people with specific memberships.
       
      I'm wondering if any plugins an be adapted to do this?
