Flipper settings

HI there and good morning!

I am trying to set flipper but face some questions ...

2 main ones:

- I am using pages and set the 'Max Number of Posts Shown' 4 or 5 but it refuses to display more than 3 pages' thumbs - is this option only working for posts or am I missing something?

- the section is not responsive when i reduce the column width or the flipper section width, the section doesn't resize but just hides the thumbs.

Is that normal and what is the answer to get over that?

Thanks in anticipation

Hi,

The setting for Max Number of Posts shown has the following info underneath:

"This controls the maximum number of posts shown. A smaller amount may be shown based on layout width."

This means that if you set it to 5 or 6 but you only have a layout width that is small, then not all of them will be shown.

The Flipper section is responsive, simply resize your browser to see this in action. It doesn't simply hide your images, it resizes them based on your devices resolution i.e. if you view on a phone then only one flipper will be visible, on an ipad, it should be two.

Hi Danny,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, this is what I meant - when layout width is smaller, then the section doesn't resize - I guess that's the way it is right?

I am still struggling with the thumbs size but we'll get there sometimes ...

Hi there, yeah that's correct. It's set that way to make sure the images are not resized to the point where they become to small to see etc. So it works out if x width, display 2 flipper posts etc.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.
