Site messed up

Recommended Posts

I have a site is currently broken. I've tried various things to fix it, but I've run out of options.

The issue started when I ran a DMS theme upgrade. When I completed the upgrade the site styles were messed up, so I started troubleshooting. I realized that the DMS instance did not recognize my account credentials, so I went to My Account and saw that my monthly subscription had a PAY button next to the normal VIEW button. It seems that there was a billing problem - I received my no prior notice received, ahem. :(

So I reactivated the payment, rolled back to DMS 1.0.3. I can now access WP control panel and DMS. The site theme is appearing correctly via a logged in browser, but when I view thru an incognito browser the style appears to be missing.

Help, please.

Hi there, unfortunately if your subscription fails on the renew date then it will not renew the sub and the account will be on hold from that point onwards etc. Glad you managed to get the subscription back up and running though through the my-account page.

If you're having problems with the css loading on the site (it seems ok at the moment if i view it so you might have resolved etc) try disabling all third party plugins in case one of them have been broken since the wp/dms update and its affecting the css. Make sure you have at least one post/one page published as this is required for the css urls to be generated. Make sure you go into settings>permalinks and save/refresh your permalink structure. Clear and cache plugins you have active to ensure you're seeing the live version of the page, you can also clear the cache via DMS control panel>global options>resets>flush caches.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.
