Secondary Nav

Hey guys,

I have a little issue and I need some help, please.

My page is at www.syscononline.com and if you look at the secondary nav - it has a transparent background.

I have tried everything I can think of to change it to black, but I just can not get it to cooperate.

I have used the Custom Code to try and make the change like I have with other things, but it just does not seem to work.

Any suggestions?

The last thing I tried was:

#secondnav ul li.menu-item a {background-color: black !important;}

Thanks

try this

#secondnav.container {
  background-color:black;
  background-position:initial initial;
  background-repeat:initial initial;
  margin:0 auto;
  width:960px;
}

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

Good to know it worked. Can you see what i did there?

width:960px; is the width of the site

margin:0 auto; centres the nav again

Someone in the office took us to the current level before I was ready, so now I am trying to get things back to the way they were - it's just one step at a time.

Yep, I see and understand what you did - I was just having a hard time getting there.

You guys are great and the input as always is very helpful.

Thanks

Paul
