Display Most Popular in Flipper

Recommended Posts

I'd like to set a Flipper section to display the most popular posts from the previous day. Is this possible?

Hi there, unfortunately that's no possible out of the box with the flipper section.

It could be using a php solution, possibly using a wp filter to sort and order the posts by that value etc. That type of customization would be outside of our support spectrum, but you can find out more on hooks and filters at http://wpcandy.com/teaches/how-to-use-wordpress-hooks/ and http://docs.pagelines.com/advanced/hooks

Thank you, James.

Is there a way to remove/resize the title for individual Flipper sections?

I've also attempted to use the Flipper Meta Keys to replace the date with post tags, but I couldn't get it to work. Is that possible?

Hi there,

If you fill in a styling class for each flipper unit you can then change the size using the below putting your custom class in front of each.

.mystylingclass

.flipper-heading .flipper-title {
    font-size: 18px;
}

In the flipper meta to insert post tags just place the shortcode [post_tags] in the field and save/refresh.

      I am using the Powerloop plug-in on my DMS website and can sort my elements by Postdate, but I want to sort the pages in Alphabetic order.
      Actually the same question for sorting Flipper content in Alphabetic order instead of Ascending / Descending / Random options.

      We only want the images and title mouse-over, not link/click to the actual post the title is from.
      Any ideas anyone?
      Thanks

      I just installed and added the Flipper section to my home page and it makes my navigation/menu bar items disappear.
      They do show up again when scrolling down and everything seems normal on the other pages.

      Thanks.

      Is there any way to hide the excerpt in Flipper, and the navigation arrows?

      How do I hide (or change) the category title in the Flipper section?
      Could there be a setting for this in the editor?
