Can't upload pictures

Recommended Posts

gianmarc0

Hi,

Since I charged the previous version of DMS, I can't upload any image. When I upload one, the result is a "broken" image, and I had to insert them from another URL. Do you know why it is and how can I fix it?

Thank you very much, and good work with DMS.

Gianmarco.

Hello gianmarc0

Could you please email the image you are trying to upload to hello @ pagelines.com  and i can test tthis for you?

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

Thank you very much, Martin. Of course, I'll send it right now, but it's not the only image with the problem; it happens with any picture.

Sorry - i meant to add - if you can create an admin level account for your Wordpress site and send the credentials to hello @ pagelines.com i will take a look and see if i can pinpoint the problem for you.

Let us know how your host gets on updating the PHP version and removing the Magic Quotes :)

      Hi Everyone,

I am currently working on MoonBodySoul.com When platform 5 is activated, I am unable to upload images. I get an HTTP Error. The moment I deactivate the plugin, images are easily uploaded. Please help! Thank you in advance.

      Dear Capable Technical Support.

I am having an issue to create 2 fixed column space to display uploaded images (from users), that would fit fixed frame of  (494px width, 494 heighteach). The arrangement I have desired is like this: http://postimg.org/image/piag1hbnp/ .

Distances between margins I would like to manage myself.

I would be forever thankful If you could guide me.

      Kind regards,
      bananaking

Help, I need to get straight alignment between the three column images on Mac's landing page at the bottom of the page.  The Youtube video embed into the media box "text and HTML" box results in 10 or so pixels below the adjacent column images.  I did a test replacing the Youtube video with a photo of the same resolution and it aligned with the other right photo.  The problem is with the Youtube video.

      Website URL: http://test.macelectricco.com/
      Framework Version: 2.0.4
      WordPress Version: 3.9.1
Plugins in Use: JetPack, SFDC web to lead, Akismet, Google Doc Embedder, WP Google Fonts
      Server/Host: Godaddy.com
      Screenshots: see attached
Details: The About page has a 3 column section below a slider.  The middle box is a Youtube video embed in the media box text section but it will not align with the left and right photos thus making it out of alignment.  I did a test with a photo the same resolution as the left and right boxes and it aligned perfect 600X350 which leads me to believe that a Youtube embed is causing the alignment problem.  I deleted fall back css custom code

      Youtube embed: <iframe width="413" height="241" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/SBnrqYbzZOQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I did an inspect on the column but couldn't find the top margin in the div as suggested by Martin. Here is the inspect when I right clicked on the Youtube media box in the center:
