New Loading Screen and PHP Debugging.

Recommended Posts

Hey guys!

Really digging the new additions!  However, the new loading screen in 1.1 is making it a pain to debug my php code as I work.  I've been doing a lot of template customizing and thus have been writing a lot of PHP.

Normally, if I've made a mistake, I'll get a PHP error at the top of the page.  But since the update, I just get the loading screen.

I've tried turning on wordpress debugging, but I don't want all of the extraneous errors (like deprecated functions).  I just want the fatal errors.  I just need to see it when I've made a syntax mistake or whatnot.

I also tried enabling debugging in the DMS editor, but I'm still not getting anything.  Is there an option I'm missing?  Can you guys help me out?  Thanks!

Install 'blackbox' plugin thats what i use, it stores all errors in the adminbar.
