I added the tab shortcode from documentation...

  1. [pl_tabs][pl_tabtitlesection type="tabs"]
  2. [pl_tabtitle active="yes" number="1"]Title 1[/pl_tabtitle]
  3. [pl_tabtitle number="2"]Title 2[/pl_tabtitle]
  4. [/pl_tabtitlesection]
  5.
  6. [pl_tabcontentsection]
  7. [pl_tabcontent active="yes" number="1"]
  8. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit
  9. [/pl_tabcontent]
  10. [pl_tabcontent number="2"]
  11. <img class="pl-imageframe" alt="" />
  12. [/pl_tabcontent]
  13. [/pl_tabcontentsection]
  14.
  15. [/pl_tabs]

to this test page...

But the tab formatting is off with extra spaces around the active tab... see screenshot.

Hi,

This is an issue with Wordpress and its love for adding <br><p> tags when you linebreak. So to two resolve your issue, you have two options.

1. Remove all linebreaks from your tab shortcode i.e. make it all one line for example:

pl_tabs][pl_tabtitlesection type="tabs"][pl_tabtitle active="yes" number="1"]Title 1[/pl_tabtitle][pl_tabtitle number="2"]Title 2[/pl_tabtitle][/pl_tabtitlesection] [pl_tabcontentsection][pl_tabcontent active="yes" number="1"]Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit[/pl_tabcontent][pl_tabcontent number="2"]<img class="pl-imageframe" alt="" />[/pl_tabcontent][/pl_tabcontentsection][/pl_tabs]

2. Use the [pl_raw] shortcode and wrap it around your tab shortcode. Be aware that this can only be used once per page. For more info see here - http://docs.pagelines.com/tutorials/shortcodes

Thank you for letting us know :)

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.
