My client has just flagged up a problem with the Pinterest share button. When they click it on any of theor blog entries Pinterest comes back with the following error:
Parameter 'image_url' (value http:) is not a valid URL format.
I've checked this myself and it does indeed happen. The post has a featured image, these are using standard Pagelines DMS sections and the the site is totally up to date.
The page is here: http://www.technicasolutions.co.uk/5-questions-to-ask-your-prospective-new-it-support-company/
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
I have the same problem as http://forum.pagelines.com/topic/32313-ultimate-social-google-and-pinterest-buttons-missing/ (topic closed).
What do I do?
Hey Ellen, what would it take to add Pinterest to the Business Branding options?
I've just bought the plugin and it looks great, but the google and pinterest buttons are not showing up.
There is an empty space (as big as the buttons would be) between the twitter and the linkedin button.
- latest dms-version (pro)
- latest plugin-version (download today)
- php safe mode is off
- php version 5.4.21
- no cdn
- cURL support enabled
- no errors according to the plugins in the code
A sceenshot is attached.
Do you have any idea to solve the problem?
Thank you for your help!
I am considering buying ultimate social - looks pretty good!
One is - this is a sharing plugin right - allowing people to share contents on their own social media?
Two is - is there an option to get the 'normal' sharing buttons instead of the bid coloured boxes? I like them but they are a bit too loud for the style i am developing.
