I updated to the new DMS and all my flipper images are different sizes. What can I do so they are all the same size again? http://theeargazm.com

Flipper doesn't crop images. It scales them.

To make sure that your images are all standard in Flipper, use the exact same size images for your post thumbnails. Flipper does have some options for image size selection, but it still depends largely upon the picture you've posted as a feature image.

Rob this was not an issue until I updated to the new version of DMS. All my thumbnails are set to 280 through the wordpress interface and set to crop to exact dimensions. All my images were the same size yesterday. Then I updated and now they are all different sizes. What is going on?

Flipper was updated and now has additional options.  Keep in mind, it's not really picking up the post "thumbnail" but the featured image.  When you select a thumb size in a post, that's just one version WP uses. Flipper uses the original image by default unless you select the options it now provides.  Please check the settings and you'll see some new, improved changes.

I just stumbled on to the new option and changed it to aspect-thumb and it's back to normal. Thank you Rob

You're very welcome.  I'm happy to read it's fixed!

We only want the images and title mouse-over, not link/click to the actual post the title is from.
      Any ideas anyone?
      Thanks

      Hi guys,
I have noticed that all thumbnails on www.michaelkummer.com are scaled down in CSS or HTML, rather than on the backend by Jetpack's Photon. See https://db.tt/vNJCn7Gh and https://db.tt/3ZpkHM7G.
Any idea why Pins sets the image width and height to something much larger than what's shown on the screen? Is there any way to fix this so that Photon can do a better job in rescaling the images on the backend before they are delivered to the browser?
      Thanks

I just installed and added the Flipper section to my home page and it makes my navigation/menu bar items disappear.
They do show up again when scrolling down and everything seems normal on the other pages.

      Thanks.

I'm using the boxes section on a local development site to play around with some options, and running into an issue.
Have the following settings for the boxes:
Type: Images/SVC Media on Top Image Appearance: Standard/Default Image/Icon Width: 280px Image Opacity: 100% Each of my box images is 280x150 in size, but the result of the image on the box is a strange zoomed-in, cropped square (see attached).  I looked to adjust border properties via CSS, but couldn't find a fix.  What solutions are out there?

Is there any way to hide the excerpt in Flipper, and the navigation arrows?
