Upgrade to DMS 1.1 Broke My Site - Revert Back to 1.0.4

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I was notified in Wordpress of the update to 1.1. Immediately after updating my entire site crashed and no webpages were visible from my website. I had to revert to a daily backup through my web host to get the site back up again.

I am running WP 3.6 and DMS 1.0.4. I have the following plugins activated:

AWeber Web Forms

CloudFlare

Custom sidebars

DMS Professional Tools
FD Feedburner Plugin
Google XML Sitemaps
Hybrid Connect
Jetpack by WordPress.com
jQuery Smooth Scroll
LaunchPage

LeadPages connector

Pagelines Sections
Social Sharing Toolkit
Ultimate TinyMCE
W3 Total Cache
WordPress Editorial Calendar

Any thoughts on why the upgrade didn't work?

Also, my front end editor is doing this (see image):

I had the same issue when I upgraded my multisite. The mainpage was working but not the subsites. Come to find out the Launchpage plugin was causing the problem! See the following post: http://forum.pagelines.com/topic/30836-updated-to-11-and-multisites-are-not-working-need-104-to-revert-changes/

To revert to 1.0.4 visit. https://github.com/pagelines/DMS/releases. After you revert to 1.0.4 and get back into everything, disable Launchpage and then re-update to 1.1. It should work afterwards.

HTH.

Yes, it's the pageslines one. Version 1.1.7. I don't even think I use it but it is active.

Thanks Markwphoto. I'll try that and post the results.

Also, since you have a cache plugin, use the plugin's settings to clear the cache, or it may appear as if changes you make aren't being applied.
