Hide Features/Boxes/Carousel/etc with bbPress

I'm looking for a way to hide the "features", "Boxes" etc functions when bbPress is displayed. I know there is a way to hide the stuff by default, but that is a ton more work than being able to disable it when in bbPress.

hmmm probably calls for more section control options.... shouldn't be too hard and this is something we will add. Mission critical right now?

Dear god yes. I've been awake for three whole days. ah, no. But there is another post about features and boxes that is rather mission critical. See: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic.php?id=3184 This little problem messes up everything.

Similar issue... Hide by default seems to be the way to go. Since many users might only use the Features on the homepage, is there a way to just cut/paste some "if home" code into the main index page? Just spending the weekend now tinkering. Pretty great start.
