Hi brenb - It's a normal function for the fixed bar to disappear when you disable it, but your other menus should remain. Is that not the case?

Sorry for delay in replying Rob.

So what do you do if you want a top menu but don't want it to be a fixed bar?

Is this possible

Reason I ask if I have two top menu's

An ecommerce menu and the primary menu.

I don't want the fixed menu as the ecommerce menu is the only visible menu when the user scrolls.

Is there any way to incorporate two fixed menu bars??

Hi,

I am slightly confused as to what it is you want to achieve, you say you do not want a fixed navbar, but then right below that statement, you say is it possible to enable two fixed navbars ?

What are you trying to achieve ? Can you provide a link to an example or provide a concept image please.

Please search our forums, before posting!

Hi Danny,

Sorry for the confusion, here is the homepage I am trying to build, and so far so good.

Main issue is how to create my top two menu's

One is an ecommerce menu driven by woocommerce and the second is primary menu driven by the pages I create.

Is there a way to have it so both menu's are fixed as currently I have it set so the ecommerce menu is fixed and it looks odd when a user scrolls that the ecommerce menu is the only viewable menu and the primary menu disappears.

in fact now that I think of it, I would need most of the headed content to always available.

So it's really all the content above the slideshow need to be fixed, is this possible?

Hi brenb - It seems to me that the easiest thing to do in this case would be to populate that one fixed navbar with all the pages you'd like to display. I'm not sure of a way to incorporate two of them but I also must say I'm not sure that would look good or function well. If you're finding that you may like to have more options, perhaps give UberMenu a try? http://labs.sevenspark.com/UberMenu

Hi Jake,

Not liking that there is only one option for a menu in the header and that is to a fixed menu.

It just doesn't facilitate the necessity for multiple header navigation.

I will have a look at that plugin now

Thanks

Hi brenb,

What made you think there's only one menu option, the fixed menu, in the header?   In addition to the Fixed Nav, there's also NavBar, and if you're inclined to purchase it, UberMenu is great and we offer an easy to use integration for it.

You can drag & drop NavBar into the header, and using that, set up a primary menu and apply it there.

Are you familiar with setting up menus in Appearance > Menus?
