Modify the size of the QuickSlider

How can I modify the size of the QuickSlider. I use it in the content area of one template I created. I want to minimize the width and height for all pages using the template.

Is it possible to put the title of the page above the QuickSlider and leave the text content of the page below the QuickSlider?

I use Pageline Framework 2.4.4.

Thank you for your support.

Hello Kjerstib

Quickslider automatically resizes to fit the space available.

Do you have a link to your site and we can suggest an alternative. One alternative is to use the feature slider which allows some control over image sizes.

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

Use the feature slider instead to get the same effect but with the ability to control elements of the slides.

You can see the guide here  http://support.pagelines.me/docs/sections/features/

Quickslider is better used for the wrap of a sidebar or a smaller more size constrained area.

Hello martin David

I changed the template according your proposal. I put the feature in the content part of and removed the QuickSlider (to the warp for the time being). I also followed the link to the documentation. But I am not able to get it proper. The width is not scaling according to the height. I set the height to 150 px. The image is in 4:3 format so I put the 1.333 in the box for aspect ratio. I put the print screen of the settings as an attachment.

Here is the link to the test page.

HI,

Not sure what is the issue, you have set the Feature slider to be 150px and thats what it is. Can you provide a concept image displaying what it is you're trying to achieve and we may be able to assist.

hello Danny

The way it is presented now, is like a benner. i want it to keep the aspect ratio 4:3. Meaning if I set the height to be 150px, I want the width to be set accordingly and that the image is scaled and not cut.

The original image size is: 3264 × 2448

This I want to be presented as 267 x 150 to keep the original proportion.

Is it possible?

Thank you

Hello Kjersti,

You can use a graphics editor like Photoshop to resize the image with aspect ratio down to 267 x 150px. Personally, I use Corel's Paint Shop Pro. It's a fast, easy process and always works.  You can save it as a copy of the original too, so you keep both the large and small versions.
