Some awesome plugin you have installed is using add_option() wrong. It was changed in WordPress 2.3 which was released on September 24, 2007

Can you disable the plugins, and make sure you validate that each one is compatible with the latest version of WordPress?

Remove and replace any outdated plugins.  As Simon points out, an old plugin can write incorrect code and creat problems.   I hope this will resolve your issue.

I removed the plugin feedwordpress and my site worked with css yet now the frontpage isnt working again while logged in and I haven't installed any new plugins.  It was working fine then altogether lost the css somehow.  Its only the homepage and if I click other pages the site loads fine.  Any help would be appreciated because why would the homepage be the only page not displaying css when logged in?

I deactivated all plugins and still the same thing, I activated debug but just got the site info so if you want that I can give it to you.  This is not seen from non logged in users just admin and only on the homepage while the other pages work fine.

The condition you're seeing (in the post above) is usually the result of a plugin conflict.  I'd urge you to deactivate them (all but the PageLines plugins) and see if the condition does disappear.  Make sure the DMS Pro Tools is activated and its settings are correct.

If the condition goes away, reactivate each inactive plugin, and check to see if the condition resumes.  If it does, that last plugin reactivated is the one causing the conflict and should be replaced.

If you're logged in as admin, in another browser, and you view the homepage, do you see it? Or is it in only one browser?

There must be some add-on, toolbar or plugin in your Chrome then.  Make sure you check Chrome and deactivate anything in there that's not from Google/Chrome.

another weird thing is if you look at the image, the menu items at the top are not on my site anymore.  Its displaying something that is't on my site anymore.  The menu that has "sample page" was changed days ago yet you can still see it appearing.  I deleted my menu yet when I go to the broken page I still see a menu there that isnt suppose to be there.  Seems like a bug more than something Im doing.

Generally, when we inspect a site on the backend, we keep to a golden rule of not changing anything.  Normally, we would just test or examine, then report back our findings, leaving it to the client to make recommended changes.  So I doubt Danny changed anything.  He will not be in until Monday morning.

Is the issue resolved now?

I'm happy to hear it's resolved.  No idea ultimately what caused it. Could be just a mystery, or the ghost in the machine. As long as it works, that's all that really counts.

      Hello All!
      So I am using PL5 - I am using a child theme with custom fonts loaded in the child's style.css file. My issue arises on mobile devices. If you are to access the site via the home page on a mobile device the custom fonts load no problem. But - if you are to type in any internal pages direct link the fonts do not load. I have a launch for the website in question on Friday this week, the 31st at 7pm CST - I need help!!!! The site address is https://aonsl.com - the site has password protect on it until Friday - you can access the site with pass code kyledominick - all one word.
      Here is the css for the fonts:
      @font-face {
        font-family: 'Another America';
        src: url('webfont.eot'); /* IE9 Compat Modes */
        src: url('webfont.eot?#iefix') format('embedded-opentype'), /* IE6-IE8 */
             url('https://aonsl.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/pagelines-bootstrap/fonts/another_america-webfont.woff2') format('woff2'), /* Super Modern Browsers */
             url('https://aonsl.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/pagelines-bootstrap/fonts/another_america-webfont.woff') format('woff'), /* Pretty Modern Browsers */
             url('https://aonsl.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/pagelines-bootstrap/fonts/Another_America.ttf')  format('truetype'), /* Safari, Android, iOS */
             url('https://aonsl.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/pagelines-bootstrap/fonts/Another_America.svg#svgFontName') format('svg'); /* Legacy iOS */
      }
      And as I mentioned - the fonts load properly on mobile if I begin viewing the site from the homepage - and works on desktop across the board both from the home page or starting on an internal page.
      ANY AND ALL HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!

      Hi guys!
      I have noticed that my primary sidebar becomes intermittently invisible when browsing through various blog articles on michaelkummer.com/blog.
      See:
      https://www.dropbox.com/s/z646sgoa3mfjl1j/Screenshot 2018-07-12 15.57.46.jpg?dl=0 and https://www.dropbox.com/s/vdledzzgginvwgv/Screenshot 2018-07-12 15.57.57.jpg?dl=0
      Upon refresh, the sidebar appears. I have been using the following CSS code to hide the sidebar on mobile without any issues.
      @media only screen and (max-width: 993px) {
      /* hide sidebars */
           .plsb {
              display: none !important;
          }
      }
      I tried to add the following CSS to force the sidebar to show on screens that are wider than 994 pixels but to no avail. Any clue what could be causing this issue?

      Hi guys!
      I am using the LESS/CSS Pagelines extension and tried to add the following code to make use of FontAwesome:
      a.c2a:before {
          content: "\f07a\00a0";
          font-family: "Font Awesome 5 Pro";
          Font-weight: 900;
          font-style: normal;
          font-weight: normal;
          text-decoration: inherit;
          padding-left: 4px;
      }

      The issue is that as soon as I have the CSS via the Custom Styling text box, Pagelines (or the extension) strips out the backslashes (\). As a result, I had to abandon the CSS/LESS extension and instead add all my CSS code to a separate .css file.
      Is there a fix or workaround for this?
      Thanks
      Michael

      Looking for some help on a recently developed issue. Editor will not load.
      Theme:  DMS2
      Error from:  Chrome - Inspector - console view
      Error message: Refused to execute script from 'http://xxxx.xxx/wp-content/themes/dms/dms/editor/js/gettext.js/?ver=4.9.7' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.
      Occurs on all sites on same server.
      WP versions to 4.9.5, 4.9.6, 4.9.7 = same behavior. Worked properly on these same versions until 07/04/2018.
      No new plugins. Isolating plugins offers same behavior.
      Server vendor reports no changes, patches, etc.
      Server re-starts no impact.

      Thank you.

      Hello, I am having a problem similar to that experienced by Michael Kummer here. We have pages that show this automatic scrolling issue (examples here and here) and it is sufficiently annoying that we have seen customers bounce while trying to convert. Strangely, it only happens at specific resolutions, so it can be difficult to reproduce. In general we can only consistently reproduce it on a 4k resolution with a browser width between 1517 and 1536px.
      Thanks to Michael Kummer's help we were able to set the overflow-anchor property to none in the entire body, which fixed the issue as far as we can tell, but also obviously disabled scroll anchoring for the whole site. I tried applying it to the specific element that looked like it was being reloaded, which was the PL Meganav extension, but that was unsuccessful.
      Can anyone help us figure out which element or ID we can apply this property to, so that we can fix the scrolling issue but not disable scroll anchoring for the entire site?
      Thank you -
