Centering Main Menu

Recommended Posts

Alex S

Hi everyone,

No matter what I do, I cannot center the main menu. What CSS do I need to implement to fix this?

Hi Alex,

Could you provide a link to your website? Thanks.  We'll be happy to take a look at it.

You're using SImpleNav, and for some odd reason, the branding logo is in the same basic section, rather than being located in a MediaBox or TextArea in the header, with the menu separate.

I was able to widen the space between menu items, which makes it look closer to centered, but given the configuration, it's not easy to adjust the margins for the menu, as it does the same for the branding logo.

Try adding:

.navbar .navline > li > a {
    color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.8);
    display: block;
    float: none;
    line-height: 19px;
    padding: 9px 18px;
    text-decoration: none;
    text-shadow: 0 -1px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.25);
}

Place it in the Custom Code area.
