DMS toolbar only available for the homepage

Recommended Posts

acangiano

Hi there,

I'm working on a site for which the DMS toolbar appears to be available on the homepage only. When I select a different page, in order to give it a different look, that page will display CSS-less and no editor will show up at the bottom. If I load the page while not logged in, it is rendered properly (but obviously without the DMS editor/toolbar as I'm not logged in.) Is this a known limitation? If not, what do you think might cause this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Tony

Hi acangiano

Could we have a link to your site please?

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

ok, in that case, if you can create an admin account for us for your site and send the credentials to hello @ pagelines.com we can take a look on your site for you.

Please include a link to the forum topic so we know to what it relates.

Hi there,

Currently the css on the page is showing as draft css rather than the compiled css. Please try updating to the latest edition of 1.04 to see if this fixes the css issue, currently looks like it's on 1.03, an update was pushed earlier with minor fixes included.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

Thank you, James. I updated to 1.04, but unfortunately I'm still experiencing the problem.

I am having an issue with DMS editor not loading.  Just keeps spinning and spinning.
Have tried several things - Logged in and out, cleared cache, deactivated all plugins, but the issue persists.
I even had our host restore from a backup a few weeks ago, when I know it WAS working, as I edited a text box on the homepage.  The restore from backup didn't help either.
Also, the front end of the site shows that the site is framed, or boxed now (whatever you call it), instead of full width as it was previously (last week).
Dev console shows that there are php errors in Google maps - file is attached.
Can someone please help?  Not sure what else I can do here...
      Thanks in advance.

      Hi,
When using the editor I am getting duplicate wordpress toolbars and an a nice error to go with it...
I have them stack 4 high at one point.  Goes away with a refresh then re-appears.
      very odd.
