Search Icon Missing?

Recommended Posts

Hello. is there supposed to be a magnifying glass icon to the left of the top menu? All I have is a small gray square, when I click it it opens the text box to type in search terms. I thought I remember seeing it there before but it's not showing up now. Site is http://www.surviveanything.com/

Hello Landshark (great picture btw)

Inspecting your code in Firebug for Firefox all your css is crossed out as though overwritten by other code in your Custom CSS panel.

Could you try removing any Custom CSS and see if this helps.

Here is firebugs view of your CSS for the searchfield  http://d.pr/i/DRUL

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

Thanks Martin,

So I did as you sugested and nothing, so I deactivated all the plugins and that fixed it (should have done that earlier) looks like the culprit is Download Manager (http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/)

Not sure where to go from here.

Hi,

If you find that one of your plugins is causing an issue, then the best course of action is to contact the developer of that plugin and inform them of the issue.

Alternatively, you could try - https://easydigitaldownloads.com/

Please search our forums, before posting!
