Thumbnail image change position

Recommended Posts

Dear All, Please help me move the thumb image on the Posts feed below the title of each page:

http://finalhope.org

As you can see on this page, the feature image is next to the title of the blog post. I would like it to be moved below the title, and to the left of the excerpt. I checked the forums and found out that something need to be changed PlatformPro: template.postloop.php however I have no idea what I should change.

I bet there are some easier ways to do it but I added this to my code... I would love to know if this is correct... or should I have done something different:

/*Moving Feature Image Below Title*/

/*Changes relative position of the title and its width*/
.fpost .post-title h2 {
    left: -130px;
    position: relative;
    width: 500px;
}

/*Changes excerpt width due to change in title width*/

.fpost .post-excerpt {
    margin: 1em 0;
    width: 365px;
}

/*Moves feature image down*/
.fpost .post-thumb img {
    display: block;
    margin-top: 80px;
    padding: 4px;
}

/*The above changes caused the full post titles to move. This puts it back. */
h1 .site-title {
    font-family: Arial,"Helvetica Neue",Helvetica,sans-serif;
    font-style: normal;
    font-variant: normal;
    font-weight: normal;
    letter-spacing: 0;
    text-transform: none;
position: relative;
    left:130px;
}

It seems you've not read the docs.

While logged into your site as admin, browse to any post.  You'll mouse over the Content/PostLoop and click the little pencil icon there.

For thumbnail placement, select "Left in Excerpt" or something like that. It will place the featured image below the post's title and metabar, and left of the excerpt text. Do this for full-width and clips.

Since it's a setting, you do not need custom code to accomplish this.
