How can I increase the height of the revo slider?

I am wanting to have it be about 2000px x 1000px

Is this possible?

Thanks

Hi, I am not sure what you're referring to when you say Revo Slider, I have visited your site and all I can see is the QuickSlider ?

Hi,

Yes, I changed it to the quick slider because I couldn't work out the sizing for the Rev slider.

I tried it with a couple of different sizes but couldn't seem to get it to work properly.

I resized one image to the 2000px x 800 px that it says is the optimum size in the instructions but the slider keeps resizing and only gives about 2000px x 400 px of the image.

Ideally, I'd like to resize the slider to more like 2000px x 1200px.

Thanks for having a look.

Hello - could you add the slider to another page so we can take a look for you please?

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

The RevSlider is a full width slider and the sliders image is resized so that it fits your screen, i.e. meaning you could have a slider image of 800x600 and a screen resolution of 1920x1200, the image would then be resized to fit your screen. The QuickSlider uses a similar concept, but instead of being resized to your width of your screen resolution, it fits the width of your content area. This means, that if you have a content area of 1000px and an image in your slide that is 2000x300, the image will be resized to fit 1000px that your content area is set to. If you can provide a image demonstrating what it is you're trying to do, we may be able to advise you.

I can see now what you are saying about different screen sizes. I had been looking on a wide screen and on my laptop the slides don't change as badly. Is there any way I can fix this?

I have created a page for the rev slider to show you what is happening. The page is at: http://test.gowebgomobile.com/rev_test/

You can see what the images are meant to look like:

http://test.gowebgomobile.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/slider4.png

It really doesn't look very good on a wider screen (1680x1050 resolution) but on the 15" laptop screen it looks fine.

I need to have time to play around with it a bit more to make it work on different screen sizes.

Thanks for your help.
