Hi,

I feel really stupid but i don't know how i can assign my blogposts to a specific blogpage?

I've inserted a content/postloop section on the page but how do i get my posts to show up in here

Thanks

Frank

Hi GOTO11 - Don't feel stupid at all!

You'll want to pick the page to show blog posts via the WordPress dashboard - Settings - Reading and then select the appropriate page under the Posts page dropdown menu.

Have you searched the forums yet or checked out the DMS user docs?

Hi Jake,

Thanks! puff...;-)

But at {WordPress dashboard - Settings - Reading] only defines the page for the homepage ('StartPagina), doesn't it?

I want the blogs to appear under their own menu item

Can you please explain some more?

Frank

GOTO11 to complement what my colleague Jake said, the normal process is:

1. Create a completely blank page in Dashboard > Pages > Add New.  Call it blog, news or anything you wish. Just remember that the page name will appear as the blog page name. Save the page.

2. Create a new page called home. This will not have a visible title, so you could call it anything.

Follow Jake's advice and his link.  Set the blog page and the homepage and save.

Now, go to the homepage in DMS and create a template and add content as desired.  Save the template and the layout.  Do the same with the blog page.
