Option to Subscribe to Blog By Email

Sorry if my ignorance is showing, but how do I change subscribing to my blog from just RSS to RSS or email? I find most people still subscribe by email. I have iBlogPro. So the intro would say something like: Welcome to simplystatedbusiness! Thanks for dropping by! Feel free to join the discussion by leaving comments, and stay updated by subscribing to the RSS feed or by email. Thanks!

You can subscribe your feeds to Feedburner (google service) for that. After you set up your feedburner feed(s) you can use the feedsmith plugin to redirect your standard feeds to feedburner feeds. The feedburner feed adresses can be assigned to the iBogPro Feed icons.

Yes, Just get set up with Feedburner and I believe they(or somebody) provides a widget or plugin that you can use to easily display it on your site.

Indeed... feedburner provides code you can paste in a text widget, so you can display a form that subscribes a person that supplies a e-mail address.
