Is it possible to have two posts loops on your homepage?

Hi there,

I'm using the personal DMS pro version and I'd like my website to have a few posts from my blogroll, a photo  (using the media box) and then continue on to the blogroll again (without duplicating the posts that were already featured above).  Is this possible?  Just to clarify, it would look like this:

post 1

post 2

post 3

PHOTO using media box

post 4

post 5

post 6

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Hi,

To do this to the core PostLoop of DMS, would most likely require custom code, especially as Wordpress by default doesn't display the Loop if you set your homepage as a static frontpage. Therefore, to do this in a simple fashion, I would probably recommend AnyLoop by Nick (although I am unsure if it provided an offset option, which you would need) or use either Mini Loop (really nice plugin or Special Recent Posts.

Mini Loop plugin allows you to create your own loop and add it to your Wordpress website via Widget, PHP or shortcode. It also includes as far as I know a Offset option which you would need to use to add Posts 4, 5, and 6 after your image.
