Changing the post metabar

Podflower

Hi,

I'm stuck (again!). What I want to do is remove some of the string in the metabar under the post title.

It currently looks like this:

By Jo On

August 19, 2013

· Add Comment · In desktop apps, fashion design

I want to remove the author and comments so it looks like this:

August 19, 2013 · desktop apps, fashion design

Same for the post excerpts on the home page and also on a single post.

I think this might have something to do with Hooks, The Loop, the Funtions.php file and the Pagelines Customize plugin (which I have installed) but as for the code I need I'm completely stumped as I don't know PHP at all. I know this might be a bit lazy but I don't want to go through a huge learning curve just to do this one thing on my website so if anyone could help me out with the code and instructions on where to put it I would be very grateful!

Thanks!

Thanks for letting us know :D

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.
