font awesome in the promo slider

hi. I have a promo slider and the client wants a arrow or something next to the title.

I'm trying to use font awesome for the thing but I'm not sure this is the best way to go about it.

when I put something like this in the header.

<i class="icon-heart"></i> The Weekly Buzz

it works, but I need some more space between the icon and the text.

I tried a &nbsp; but that was bad news and blew the whole thing up.

is there a good way to do this?

thanks,

I wonder if you could use some CSS to create some padding around the icon.

      Hi everyone,

Just installed Promo Slider but I'd like to change the color of the tab.

Using FireBug I found the code, copied it to my CSS and changed the color but it still shows as the default....?
      .QuickContentSlider-button-right { background-color: #00a8e2; color: white; float: left; font-weight: bold; padding: 12px; position: absolute; text-align: center; top: -45px; transform: rotate(270deg); transform-origin: 100% 100% 0; visibility: hidden; } Any ideas why #00a8e2 color is not showing?
