hide sections in header on different templates

On V2 we could hide particular items within the header for particular templates, is this functionality going to be put into DMS?

Yeah there are a number tickets on our tracker concerning this issue and there are plans to resolve this.

What is the status on this? I am trying to hide the fixed section using the page id and the section disappears on all pages instead.

chamois_blanc - You do not use the Page ID, instead you use the ID created by DMS.

 

Make sure you're on the template/page you want to hide the Fixed Nav on and then go to DMS Toolbar > Page Setup > Page Handling. Here you will find the Page ID which is a longer number for example 7080833.

 

Copy and paste that numeric value (ID) into the hide sections field and this should resolve your issue.

Hmm thanks but that's super confusing. Why would DMS then display the page ID instead of the DMS ID like this?

           Applicable in global regions. Enter Page IDs (comma separated) to hide this section only on those pages. The ID for this page/post is: 68

This is due to the templating system used in DMS.
