Upgrade messed up my site

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I just upgraded DMS to version 1.0.1 and it moved a lot of elements on my site, forcing me to recode a lot of my custom css in order to get it back to normal.

My questions is - is there a way to chance DMS back to the version I had before?

Does anyone know? I am really determined to get my site up and running like normal again ASAP.

Thanks :-)

Hi andersen3

Please, you can try to deactivate all plugin to see this resolve the issue.

Do you have Wordpress SEO plugin?  That one causes a DMS crash.

What changed? Not a lot was changed in core CSS or otherwise in this release.

I think there's just a conflict with Wordpress SEO that was likely there all along, since DMS 0.9.6.

Thanks a lot for all the answers.

Would you suggest that I go ahead and start recoding all my custom CSS to get it back to normal?

Presumably, your custom code came from a previous installation, such as Framework.  There are differences between the CSS elements in DMS and Framework. So you may be best to inspect the site, see any variations caused by using Framework CSS in DMS, and adjust accordingly.  I use Firebug to inspect.
