On the mobile button for NavBar that opens the slideout menu how do I:

1) remove the word MENU from the button

2) replace the icon

I have inserted relavant code below...

<a class="nav-btn nav-btn-navbar mm-toggle" href="javascript:void(0)">

MENU
<i class="icon-reorder"></i>
</a>

This lets you change the word Menu from the mobile menu?

Is this in the Global Navbar option or the NavBar widget you drag into a section?

Try changing the word MENU on line 298 of the section.php file within the navbar section.  That will change the default word to whatever you want it to be (in theory).  Haven't personally tested it though.

Where are those files located?

Great question!  Are you using a child theme or editing DMS directly? Chances are you're editing directly in DMS.  I can tell you where to find it but remember that any time you update DMS you will lose your customizations.  A better option is to create a child theme and drag the section into the sections folder within the child theme.  Confusing, but by doing that you will protect your customizations and still be able to upgrade DMS.

For editing directly in DMS you'll need access to your dms folder via FTP.  Then, go to the following file:

wp-content > themes > dms > sections > navbar > section.php

Have fun and let me know if it works!

To supplement the loss of customizations by editing core files, it also violates the terms of the license and can cause a cessation of support.  I strongly urge that no one edit core files.  If you copy a section to a child theme and edit it there, that's perfectly fine.

We won't support the changes to core files.

      Hi,

      I have been using DMS and pagelines.
      I am facing to a huge trouble with the appearance of one of my page on mobile (smart phones) built with pagelines.
      However I haven’t come to any solutions to organise either edit the appearance of mobile view to look neat or deactivate the responsive function.
      Now it looks totally messy on the phone...

      1. Is there any way to edit the appearance of the mobile version (responsive theme)?
      2. Is there any way to deactivate responsive function?

      If I could receive support from you to go thorough this process I would be happy to be a pro member.

      Looking forward to hearing from you.

      While building my website, I set a padding of 5%, 25%, 5%, 25% so the text on the pages is not too wide.
      However, it looks crappy on mobile.
      How do I get the same effect and still have it look good on mobile?
      Example: http://yemoonyah.com/quiz
      Thanks
