global text font size

Noticed that font on my site > http://tinyurl.com/ccobof5   is smaller than other sites, regardless of the browser use. I was looking in the forum but cannot find a direct answer of how to do this. I do not want to change the type of font  currently being used, just the size. Can you help?

Thanks.

Simon,

In DMS, under Global Options > Typography, can you tell us what size and font you've selected? When you are going to save it, did you hit the Refresh first instead of Publish first (the correct one to use)?

Rob,

I'm still in framework not DMS.

Under typography I have the following:

text headers I have (Dancing Script *G)

Primary Font I have(Lucinda Grande)

Secondary Font I have(Helvetica)

and for Inputs and Textareas I have (Helvetica)

Now, there is not font size anywhere here that I can change from/to. There are only the "edit font styling" which has the letter spacing, weight, etc but not font size.

Add this css at Options -> Custom Code in the box css/less rules

body {
   font-size: 16 px  /* Or any other value */
}

Sorry forgot the semicolon...

body {
   font-size: 16 px;   /* Or any other value */
}

Or if that doesn't change anything try:

body {

   font-size: 16 px !important; /* Or any other value */
}

BC,

Neither one worked. I made sure I cleaned the cache, temp files, etc after every change.

The default in your site is set in this code, as stated above. You can adjust the 14px as desired after pasting into Dashboard > PageLines > Site Options > Custom Code

body {
    font-size14px;
    line-height21px;
}

You'll see two elements there.  Probably best to leave the line height alone, but if you make the font-size much bigger, I'd suggest increasing it accordingly.  But only when you reach 18px.  Also, you may wish to consider converting these figures to em, which adds to your site's ability to display better in mobile devices. There are px to em converters online.
