Urgent please : DMS breaking checkout in chrome?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Just launched the new site after countless days of testing to make sure everything worked properly. For some reason now that we've forwarded our old site (zoxstraps.com) to this one I've had an error that only happens in chrome when you go to the checkout page with a product in your cart or the 'my account' page. Here's a screenshot of the checkout: http://screencast.com/t/p3z3j4THC

Any suggestions on how to fix it? Site is www.zox.la

Page issue has been found on www.zox.la/checkout and www.zox.la/my-account

The only thing I can think of is that it's something to do with SSL that chrome doesn't like. Both the pages in question are secure pages. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason, How have you set your site to SSL ? Your Compiled CSS is being blocked which it mentions here - http://cl.ly/image/3k453z0E110U

Please search our forums, before posting!

Thanks guys. Yes, I saw that but I'm not sure how I would go about fixing it? It appears that the errors are coming from pagelines images being insecure? I have a dev friend trying to help me with it right now as well and neither of us can figure out how to convert all those images to secure. I have installed SSL to Zox.la but the only forced time I have for it is on checkout through woocommerce. In my General -> settings file, I have the Wordpress address and site address as http://zox.la, does that matter? I do not need the rest of the site to be secure, just these pages

I'm no expert but 1 Google search took me to here:

http://www.whynopadlock.com/

enter your checkout URL:

https://zox.la/checkout/

and wait for the error list to show up, you have a rather large list!

Funnily enough you have more woocommerce than anything else. Basically you cannot use anything with http on an https page, the only way I could see to do this is by loading https specific code on the relevent pages. I don't know how SSL is implements so I can't help you in that area but I would hit up woocommerce as I'm sure this must happen to them a lot.

I'm sure you have done some searches but this one was interesting:

http://serverfault.com/questions/159129/javascript-and-css-fail-to-load-in-some-browsers-over-ssl

I would hit up your SSL provider, Woocommerce and possibly your hosting company. It's definetly not purely a DMS issue.

When the DMS theme styles are loaded, the site is redirecting the CSS from https:// to http://. For example, try to go here: https://zox.la/wp-content/themes/dms/pagelines-compiled-css-1_1377154970/ and notice that it is redirected to http://zox.la/wp-content/themes/dms/pagelines-compiled-css-1_1377154970/. That's the first problem that needs to be solved.
