Checkout from github gives directory "DMS", DMS requires that it be "dms" lower case

Don't know why the checkout would be upper case when DMS itself complains unless it's lower case "dms".

When the docs were written, the file was as it is included in them.  Since then, it's been changed.  Simply get the file by going to http://www.pagelines.com where you'll see a red button. Click it, fill in the short form and you'll get the proper, latest DMS file called dms.zip.

Use that for your installation to avoid problems.  I recommend using FTP to properly install it.

I'm not sure what document you're referring to.

The message to which I referred about DMS requiring to be run out of the 'dms' (lower case) directory was issued from within the WordPress admin.  Right after that, the theme was judged to be incorrectly installed/corrupt and my theme was set back to one of the WordPress defaults.

A checkout from Github pulls the repository as DMS, all upper case.

DMS itself must be run in the wp-content/themes/dms directory, with 'dms' being lower case.

Renaming the directory partially rectified the problem, but the DMS directory name persisted in some of the settings leading to 404's on graphics.

It's easy enough to get around by just telling git to check it out into 'dms', but it'd be easier if the repository was named 'dms' instead of 'DMS'

Yeah, if you're going to install DMS from Github, its best to extract the zip, rename the folder to dms, then upload it. That should resolve the issue.

Also, as far as I know, it is a check via GitHub, its just a warning to users who have DMS installed in the wrong directory/folder name. All themes folder names should be lower case, as far as I am aware.
