Padding issue with TextBox?

Recommended Posts

clinton4

Hi,

I use the section TextBox to add a Google Adsense (728x90px) ad to my site. I have set the Padding (CSS Shorthand) option to "0px 0px". But i still get padding inside the box.

How can i force the red box to have no padding?

Check the global settings for that section... it may be interfering with the local css?

That almost looks like the padding with text-align left on the mediabox. You sure it's textbox? Link?

P.S - Put together this plugin with some free utility classes that solve issues similar to this. May find it useful.

Hi dhrose,

My global settings has no value, i tried to set Padding (CSS Shorthand) option to "0px 0px" in global options as well, but same problem.

When i look in inspector, i find this:

body .pl-area .pl-section .pl-section > .pl-section-pad {
    padding: 8px;
    margin-bottom: 1em;
}

Whis causes the problem. Any idea where i can change this?

Check out that plugin I posted above. The classes that I wrote specifically target .pl-section-pad.

Also, without a link we can all just only guess. ;)

I did post a link: www.eggløsning.no

Nice plugin, but i want to get to the bottom of this. I feel DMS should have the solution in its self. After all it is a Design Managment System :)

It did not solve the problem directly, but i figured it out. I hade to add some more custom CSS.

I will post the solution later today when i am on my laptop.

If I understand you correctly, you want to have that specific textbox have zero padding and zero margin and the padding option, which you have set to 0px isn't overriding the default styling ? Is this correct ? Also, if you want zero margin you will need to use custom CSS.
