EcoPro multiple custom post types on one page

Recommended Posts

I've set up multiple post types for my content ('events', 'facts', 'news'), and am able to add posts to my static pages with the Associate Post plug-in. Now I'd like to add to my static home page two of my most recent posts for each post type (3 post types, so 6 total posts would be displayed on one page). It looks like I would need to create a new template php and update multiple php files. (_template.php, _loop.php, etc). Seems messy...is there an easier way to do this?

Apparently I should have mentioned that I performed a plug-in search first. Nothing seemed like it would perform what I described. Do you know something or have seen a site that does this?

This is definitely a custom job and will likely get messy. Best way to keep it clean is just encapsulate everything that you add to the _theloop and _template inside appropriate conditional tags.

Okay, that's what I was afraid of, but thanks for the confirmation.
