Changing the background

Recommended Posts

nickvdt14

This probably a noob question, but I'm struggling to change the background of a specific page.

I tried using:

.page-id-762 #body .site-wrap {background: #FFFFFF; }

But this doesn't seem to work. The new live preview feature is really awesome and I tried playing around a bit but have not had any luck. No rush to answer this as I'm sure there are more urgent questions to be answered since DMS has just been released.

Loving DMS by the way! Making things way easier for someone like me that doesn't have a background in coding.

Hi, where did you get the CSS code to do that?

I just used the source inspector and found that if I change #body .site-wrap then the background would change, but for all pages. That's the ID of the page I'd like to change. Googled a few examples but none seemed to work.

I'm very new to coding and trying to learn as I go.

Hi nickvdt14

Please, you can add

.page-id-762  .site-wrap .page-wrap{background-color: #C00000;}

I´m a newbie too
