Uploading Custom Logo Issue, unsupported file types

Recommended Posts

nimbios

I cannot upload any images -- I am trying to upload one to Custom Logo and I also tried to upload to Media. I get an unsupported file type error, but the files are all either .jpg, .png or .gif. These are also files that I have uploaded successfully in the past. See here: http://www.nimbios.org/wordpress-training/bloodcell/

I am trying to upload from a Mac to this page: http://www.nimbios.org/wordpress-training/animalvocalsequences/

I really have no idea what the problem is, and I cannot get into LiveChat even though I have paid for a subscription to do so.

Can anyone help please?

Hi,

Please look at our docs at http://docs.pagelines.com.  It's possible there's a plugin conflict with AJAX.  Try disabling your plugins.

Live Chat is no longer available.  We're using this forum, for the moment.

No, the only plug-in I have is Subscribe2, and it wasn't working when the plug-in was deactivated. Other suggestions?

If the image is in the Media Libary (WordPress), then you can edit it, and get the image URL.  You can manually add that to the Media Area so that it displays the image, without having to upload via that section.

I haven't been able to upload it successfully to the Media Library as well.

This is the message I get when I try to upload it to WP Media Library: Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.
