Need help with a Grey Border around an Image on Iblog4

Recommended Posts

selectams

Hi, I get a grey border around any image if I add a caption. Looking at your blog I tried - .textcontent input {border:none;} but of no use. Also because of the custom css .textcontent input {border:none;} I lost grey border within the contact us page. I am currently not using any custom code. Could you guys please help me to get rid of the grey border... Thanks Prasanna

Hello, Rather than adding code in the Custom Code box, go to the folder containing your theme files and open the folder core. In this folder, you'll find a subfolder called css and in there, there's the CSS file, wp_core.css. Open this file. Find this code at the bottom:

    .wp-caption {
	        text-align: center;
	        background: #fff;
	        border: 1px solid #ddd;
	        margin: 10px;
	        padding: 4px;
	        margin-bottom: 1em;
	    }
Where it says
border: 1px solid #ddd;

, delete the 1 and replace it with 0. Save the file, refresh your website, and the borders for all images with captions should be gone.

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.
