I'm probably missing something big time, but where do I customize the revslider.. After adding it, I don't see any controls anywhere.

Once the RevSlider is added to your site, you can then click the little pencil (Edit) on the top left and the editing options are opened in the Edit screen (the lower half of the screen, where you can upload images, set transitions, options, etc.

Hi, I see the problem. The "edit" button is not accessible, because it is covered by the default slideshow images showing. I do fix it, turn display of the images off?

Got it!
As there is no child theme available in the store, I downloaded the "Nicks Base Theme" made by Nick Haskins.No I have switched back to the main DMS theme, the edit button is showing again.

There's a bug somewhere in Nick's Base Theme that interferes with some of the editing. Hopefully he can fix those.

How do you place a video in the Rev slider and get it to align properly?

Figured it out!

Step 1: Go into CUSTOM CODE and perform the following:

.center
{
margin-left:auto;
margin-right:auto;
}

Step 2: Add " center" (minus the quotes) in the Styling Classes field.

Step 3: Insert your YouTube <embed> code into SLIDE EXTRA ELEMENTS and you'll find it centered.

The problem I have at the moment is if I add an image, it applies it over the video.

Thanks for the tip.

I also have that problem. I want my video to show on top of the image, too
