Poppy: changing which address receives the message

Hi, does anyone know how I might go about changing the email address that receives messages from the Poppy form on my site? It's sending them to my personal mailbox, as that's what I've got listed in the Wordpress account, but I'd like it to send them to the main mailbox for my business. I know I can change the email address Wordpress has on file to do this, but I'd rather keep that one as my own, since I'm not the one who regularly checks the business email. Thanks!

PS site is http://phillydogschool.com if it matters.

Hi,

To be very honest, I don't know if that's even possible with Poppy.  It seems like it's only allowing or using the default WordPress email address, or possibly your PageLines account-related email address. Either way, it doesn't appear to be flexible.

I'll recommend changing that ASAP.  But in the meantime, to resolve your issue, you may need to use a different plugin.  I'm not sure though, which will work for your overall needs.  I'd suggest looking for a modal form at http://www.wordpress.org/extend/plugins

Thanks Rob, I'll check out some other plugins and see if they'd be a better fit. Worst case I can just forward any incoming messages, but I figured I'd see if there was a way to change the address first. Take care!

You too Dan. Again, sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Is there a way to customize the contact us form that Poppy uses?

At the very least, I would like the e-mail to indicate which page on our website that the form was submitted from. Ideally, I would turn it into a 3 or 4 question form with a radio button or two (beyond the basic text area block). Any ideas about how I could accomplish this?

So basically my question is if I can add Poppy contact form to the Salebar button link without any additional codding?

      Thanks

      Hello,

I keep getting the following error when testing out the Poppy mail function on my site at: 59sp.mparkerdev.com/work

I've used Poppy previously on other sites with no problem, so not sure what the issue is.  I've tried different emails, deleting and reuploading plugin, and the usual steps.  Based on some of the other forum threads, I'm wondering if this is something on the server side that I need to fix (permission issue?). Any help is greatly appreciated, and if there's an alternative to Poppy that anyone recommends, please let me know!

      Thanks!!

Hello,    I wonder which way to insert the email contact in the Poppy Contact Form plugin .  Well from what I saw just enter the shortcode and the button now starts to work, but how do I know where you're going emails that are written by this plugin?

The poppy envelope using "[poppy type="i" class="icon-envelope icon-4x"] [/poppy]" just displays a rectangular block.
