Pinterest pin for features or Masthead

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks

Is there a method of adding an ability to pin images that would appear in features, banners or mastheads?

Even if you try and pull an image from the site by inputing the URL to the site, it appears that pinterest is unable to locate to the images

Can you give us a link to your site so we can test this with your images?

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

Hi Keith

there's no way that i know to do this on the slider without using javascript. This would mean copying the section into a child theme and editing the code to include the js for the pin it function.

You could try adding the following code provided on -http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-pinterest-pin-it-button-in-your-wordpress-blog/ to your child themes functions.php. However, I'm not sure it will work first try on custom post types. Worth a go though.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.
