Too much space between content box and box section

I want to adjust the padding between content box and box section. I look for the css  in firebog. I think I identified the class as:

#boxes.container.clone_1.section-boxes.fix
.content

So I added this CSS to my custom code:

#boxes.container.clone_1.section-boxes.fix
.content {padding-top 10 px;}

Nothing happened.

I'm no sure how to identify a particular css for a section. Please advise

Hi there,

if you're using firebug to target your css then check inside the .content and .content-pad as there's currently padding present in there. You also have a margin applied to the .article class inside the postloop sections and padding the .hentry class. These are what are applying the gap in between the two sections.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.
