Image Protection Question

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if there is a plug-in or option that allows for some type of image protection, such as enable right-click protection, disable right-clicking, or image encryption.

Thank you,

Darryl

Hi Treadwellimages - how did Batman's suggestion work out for you?

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

Thanks Batman,

Very useful reference. I think I will try use two of the solutions DMCA and WP Content Copy Protection. Thank you for taking the time to help out.

Martin Davies,

Batman's suggestion was very helpful.

Thank you both.

Also, even with the image protection plugin(s), iOS devices allow you to tap-hold on the image and save or copy.

However, put the following in your theme's custom code CSS rules:
/* THIS DISALLOWS iOS IMAGE SAVE/COPY */
img {
  -webkit-touch-callout: none;
  -webkit-user-select: none;
}
