Confused about menu area selection?

Recommended Posts

In WP-admin -> Themes -> Menus:

It says the theme has 4 menu places:

- Simple Nav Section
- Primary Website Navigation
- Page Navigation in Footer Columns
- BrandNav Section Navigation
If i try to change menu in example "Primary Website Navigation", the menu I have selected is not showing up on the "Primary Website Navigation" area.
Then in WP-admin -> PageLines -> Site Options -> NavBar:
I find this:
NavBar and Fixed NavBar Menu
Select the WordPress Menu for the NavBar(s)
- Fixed NavBar - Select Menu
- Standard NavBar - Select Menu
So to the question. Where is the correct place to define which menu goes where?

Hi there,

If you're using the navbar or fixed navbar then you'll need to set these in pagelines>site options>navbar using the drop downs in the admin menu. This section was added after the initial framework was created so the option were added later and as they were a section it was decided it was best to place the options inside the section container.

If using the classic nav, brand nav or simple nav then use the options in appearance>menus from the drop downs which appear on that page.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.
