iBlogPro3 current_page_item

Due to our need to control the main navbar content (categories and pages, their order, etc.) we replaced the theme navbar with the PixoPoint Menu Plugin. Kind of hated to do that, we really like the original theme look, but we needed the functionality. Long story short, we have things working pretty well, with a minor issue. On the main blog/category page http://www.songofsolomonstudy.com/study/ both that tab and the Home tab are highlighted. Ironically on the site home page, the Home link is not. That's backwards. On the 'Study' page, both tabs are showing li class of current_page_item. Is this related to our use of the static page as the site home page? What would I need to do to address this? Thanks, David

Couldn't you just do that with the 'pagemash' plugin?

After looking at the iBP code; i think this error is being caused somehow by your plugin or its settings.

Thanks for the thoughts. I had looked at pagemash and got the impression it is only for Pages. We need a combination of Pages and Categories in the main navigation. I'll need to keep looking at the code I guess or... I understand the latest version of the theme includes drop down menus. Can you point us to any examples? I did see one mentioned in another thread: http://www.winelass.com/wp/. Is this what it looks like? We would love to be able to use that look but would need to find a solution to be able to control pages/categories. Thanks, David

We recommend using "page links to" (plugin) to accomplish this (as per WP guidelines)

Yes :)

I had seen that plugin but wasn't too comfortable with the idea of a 301. I will take another look. I do like the latest look of the theme - will need to seriously consider making this work. Thanks again!
