Remove padding on content box (and other sections)

I would like to remove the space between my content box and the Carousel section on my website.  I used Firebug to locate but I cannot for the life of me figure out what custom CSS to implement to make sure this happens on each page.  Ultimately I would like to remove the padding from the content box so regardless of what section follows, the gap is removed.

Here is the page where I am referring to this problem: http://asiwearables.com/techniques/inside-out-prints/

Hello Chan08 - what have you tried?

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

I'll be honest, I think I located the element being .hentry or something of the sort but have not been able to figure out what to put in the custom CSS...

I recommend using Firebug or your browsers built-in web dev tools and inspect the  sections to find the correct code. With Firebug you can do this 'on the fly' so you can see what works and what doesn't

For assistance visit our custom CSS documentation - http://support.pagelines.me/docs/customization/custom-css/

That's what I used and that is how I figured out .hentry padding set to 0px does what I need but I am unsure of the full code to input in the custom CSS...

Here is what I have so far.  It's getting closer but I need the gap to be even smaller.  I am looking to reduce the space between the two to be around 15px-ish

I guess my problem is that I cannot figure out what padding is effecting all this.  Take a look at my attached pic and you'll see what I have.

I think it looks better now.  Thanks!

Perhaps it's the spacing between sections I need to focus on because it's hard to remove the gap completely.

To remove completely check the margin-bottom in the .hentry class, it's currently set at 1.8em which is what's leaving the gap.

Perfect!  I ended up adding this:

.hentry {
	padding: 0;
	margin-bottom: 0;
}

I think that is perfect for me.  I didn't necessarily want them butted up to each other and this is right on the money.  Thanks!
