Hi there,

I'm trying to edit the translations, such as "Post a comment". Some of them are already translated (automatically by the theme?!) into German. Where can I edit them? Our site is: http://www.border-crossing.ch/wkkopie/, the texts I'd like to translate you can find here:

- comments ("Hinterlasse eine Antwort" and so on): http://www.border-crossing.ch/wkkopie/2013/standemehr-eine-zusammenstellung-der-reformvorschlage-der-letzten-40-jahre/

- search ("Search results for": http://www.border-crossing.ch/wkkopie/?s=bern

Thank you in advance.

Bests from Switzerland,

Thomas

Hi there,

I'm finding the results in http://pagelines.com/translate/projects/pagelines-framework/de/default for both of those in german. If you click on search and enter the text as above you should see results for each.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

Hi there,  if that's not working try adding the translations to your site manually by following the below method.

1. Look up Localization on WordPress: http://codex.wordpress.org/Translating_WordPress

2. Use PoEdit (http://www.poedit.net) to create your translation files.

3. After translating the file by Poedit save the translation. Poedit creates two files for you. One with the extension ".po" and the other one with the extension ".mo".

Upload both files to the folder "language" located in PageLines folder. Alternatively, you could use another plugin (e.g. Codestyling plugin) to apply the translations.

You will also need to follow the instructions at: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_in_Your_Language
