Custom Bullet points showing in Nav

Recommended Posts

willowtee

Hi

I'm using some custom bullet points for my lists. My problem is they're showing up in my drop down menu (Fixed Nav).

I've tried various combinations to not show them in Nav but have so far struggled to correctly identify the right css selector.

I tried -

ul.sub-menu.dropdown-menu li.menu-item-type-custom{
    list-style-type: none!important;
}

Sorry I don't have a link for this site as its still being developed

Cheers in advance
Tom

Hi Tom,

It would seem you're applying what is intended to be a custom bullet point for lists to the submenus, not to lists in the content. It would be hard to give you more specific CSS, but I can recommend that you wrap each of your own lists where you want the bullets into its own div with a very unique class.  For example, in making a class, call it something like mybullet1.   Since that class is not likely to be used elsewhere by plugins or PageLines, it will not conflict.

Then, your CSS can be something like this:

.mybullet1 ul li {list-style-type: none !important;

}
