having buddypress 'comment box' on my pagelines

Recommended Posts

hi. I am a starter of all kinds of coding stuff and fact, pagelines drove me to get it update to pro version because it seemed very easy to make some webpages with a little bit of 'functions' like COMMENT. and surly pagelines pro provide other plus plug-in and that sounds real good. but here i got my problem with

'buddypress for pagelines'

whay i was trying is having comment box on the page where i want. click this to see my page.

so, before i start making something i plan to, i tested that few important functions do work or not (such as connecting google, loging in, etc.) but I still can not get my comment box using buddypress.

below is my template 1 php code list

<?php

/*
Template Name: Template | 1
*/

/**
 * Page Template - ALPHA
 *
 * @package     PageLines Framework
 * @since       ...
 *
 * @link        http://www.pagelines.com/
 * @link        http://www.pagelines.com/tour
 *
 * @author      PageLines   http://www.pagelines.com/
 * @copyright   Copyright © 2008-2012, PageLines  hello@pagelines.com
 *
 * @internal    last revised January 20, 2012
 * @version     ...
 *
 * @todo Define version
 */

setup_pagelines_template(); ?>

i don't know what kind of info. that i have to show you so, if there is something more needed, let me know.

*FYI,

-I allowed every pages comments

Buddypress adds new templates into the drag and drop page. Have you checked in the drag and drop in the content area of the template that the comments section is enabled?

Also check in the buddy press settings that comments are enabled. See the bottom option on - http://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/the-buddypress-manual-2/configuring-the-general-settings-of-your-buddypress-community/

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.
