evert100 1 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 Hi, As experienced wordpress and pagelines designer and developer making first experience with multisite. Situation: -pagelines can be individually installed on each site seperatly. -i can change css through Site Options, custom code. Perfect! Works. I am used to work with customization plugin and change there style.css This will probably change the css for all sites? Is there a creative solution? Or is the mentioned solution the only one available here? Thanks. hop question is clear!

James B 436 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 Hi there, the customize plugin works with multisite still. See Simons explanation on this thread - http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/26200-multisite-question/ Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues. For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting. evert100 1 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 Under my photo here in the forum. Doesn't bother. Can you explain to me what is the difference between, in the pagelines store, pagelines sections and pagelines legacy sections? Never noticed this before. Does it have to do with my multisite maybe? evert100 1 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 Simon, just put the files style.css and functions.php in the blogs/xxx folder, not pagelines-customize.php? and the image?
evert100 1 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 why does this subfolder xxx works with this ID and not with the url, like 'test' ? What is the easiest way to discover the ID to yr opinion?
Simon 248 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 Yep thats right, it'll load the style and functions file for the blog thats currently being viewed then. It also supports style.less files.
Simon 248 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 why does this subfolder xxx works with this ID and not with the url, like 'test' ? What is the easiest way to discover the ID to yr opinion? In the admin area, click edit site, you should see the site ID then.
evert100 1 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 i created blogs/2/style.css and blogs/2/functions.php but no styling effect after changing. I got the ID 2 after looking in uploads/sites/2 in the wp-content folder. There is stored a complied.css. What is wrong?
evert100 1 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 Does the plugin customize have to be "network activated"? Or better per site activated?
Simon 248 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 Yes it has to be activated either way.
evert100 1 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 changing style.css in the pageslines-customize folder changes ALSO the sub site. That's not my wish. I want them to be separated!
evert100 1 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 either way means? It's important to understand exactly. I now have activation per site and that seems to work suddenly. Maybe it didn't produce a compiled.css? Strange....
evert100 1 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 no sorry, it doesn't work. You are sure the folder is called blogs? Not sites?
